The team / Founder
Founder of Tierra Firme and of Simple Legal Consulting. He leads the property work, signs the legal opinion, and carries the file from the first call to the registry entry.

The record
He has practised in Costa Rica since 2012 and has been admitted as an attorney since 2013, after being licensed in El Salvador in 2010. The work is deliberately unglamorous: registry read line by line, plan compared with the fence, escrow instructions checked against the contract, on files that have included acquisitions in the millions of dollars.
His background is litigation, which is why the property work leans on prevention. Disputes show where contracts break, and the cheaper place to fix that is before the deposit moves.

Recognition and appointments
Hundreds of clients have worked with the firm on purchases, corporations, residency and disputes. The property files are run the same way: one lawyer responsible, a notary, a surveyor, an architect and an accountant brought in when the parcel needs them, and every one of them signing their own part.
Send the property and one lawyer answers. If the parcel needs a surveyor, a notary, an architect or an accountant, they come in with the file, not instead of it.
